Business banking that keeps the money side of running a studio surprisingly manageable.

overview
Found is the business banking platform we use to manage Drift’s money, from everyday spending to taxes, contractors, and everything in between.
It combines business banking with bookkeeping, invoicing, tax estimates, and money management tools, so a lot of the financial admin that would normally live across separate platforms stays in one place.
why it's in our stack
Business checking built specifically around how small businesses operate.
Automatically divide incoming money between taxes, operating expenses, savings, and other priorities.
Real-time tax estimates and automatic tax savings make it much easier to know what money is actually yours to spend.
Transactions, expenses, receipts, and financial reports live alongside the bank account instead of in a completely separate system.
Pay contractors, collect W-9s, and manage 1099s directly through Found.
Create and send invoices without needing another invoicing platform.
Freelancers, independent creatives, and small business owners who want their banking and financial admin in one place.
our experience
Found has been Drift’s bank from the beginning. What keeps us there is how much of the boring financial shit it handles without making us think about it.
Pockets are probably the feature we rely on most. Money can be automatically separated as it comes in, so taxes, operating expenses, and other priorities aren’t all sitting in one giant balance. We also use Found for contractor payments and tax planning, which means fewer financial tools to keep track of as the studio grows.
One of the biggest reasons we chose Found in the first place was much simpler: they allowed us to use a preferred name on the account. For trans and nonbinary business owners, something that small can make a financial platform feel considerably less hostile to use.
